Description
As Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for building, training and managing a team of professional sales executives to expand business opportunities for Industrial Solutions (Vilter). In this strategic role, he/she will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. The position includes responsibility for a global sales team and requires collaboration across many regions and business units. In this role, you will also interface with our operations team to ensure optimal onboarding and ongoing satisfaction of our partners. You will also maintain a consistent pulse on new business development opportunities within existing partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Drive Sales Growth
* Collaborate Globally to Develop and Execute Sales
* Develop and Manage Pricing Programs, New Product Launches & Product Phase Outs
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
* Develop and manage sales operating budgets.
* Actively coach and develop sales managers, sales team leaders
* Playing a hands-on role with the field sales organization, maintaining personal presence and high visibility in the field.
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
* Directing sales forecasting activities that correlate to performance goals.
* Directing market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
* Tracking and reporting sales metrics; analyzing trends; developing data-driven plans for improvement; Sharing reports and metrics with executive leadership.
Additional Information
Travel required: 75-80%, including approximately 15% international travel.
Requirements
Basic
* Four (4) year degree plus a minimum of 10 years of related experience
* Technical aptitude and Project Pursuit sales experience
* Experience leading remote direct reports
* Experience working in global teams
Preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field
* MBA
* Industrial Refrigeration or Gas sales experience
