Role Summary
The Global Operations Tax Team is a component of the Global Operations Finance Europe organisation. The Team is in charge to create CIT reports & returns, according to 31 Countries accounting principles for GE s legal entities.

Essential Responsibilities

Prepare/review quarterly tax provisioning for businesses/divisions under your care
Manage and book journal entries on tax balance sheet accounts for local tax and deferred tax purposes under guidance of a Corporate Tax superiors
Prepare tax account reconciliations and ensure that the tax balances are well supported with working papers
Prepare, instruct and track tax payments
Provide draft tax computation for entities according to local tax regulation guided by Tax Advisors. Ensure that all legal entities meet filing obligations on timely & accurately
Co-ordinate completion of tax disclosures, and statutory/corporate income tax audits
Bachelor s degree or equivalent in finance related field
Written and verbal fluency in English
Accounting working knowledge
Good analytical skills & ability to technically discuss with local/regional controllers, tax/statutory leaders and auditors
Intermediate to advance MS Excel knowledge
Desired Characteristics
Experience in a Global Business / Shared Service Center /Accounting Firm
Expertise in direct tax processes and compliance
Accountant background
Good working knowledge in a multinational environment
Oracle, SAP user experience is an advantage
