This is a new role with the primary purpose to become a link of sound leadership between our Software Development and the Product. You will have a big influence on shaping your role based on your strengths, expertise, professional interests.

You will be reporting into the CTO and supporting him, our CPO and engineering team with shaping the directions of our product by ensuring that there is a strong technological background of everything we are offering to our customers. Thats why you will also be a key point of contact for our enterprise prospects and existing customers when it comes to technology solutions and engineering-related matters.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Being a key member of the Product Development Leadership Team by ensuring representation of technology-related challenges and solutions
Co-owning the Delivery of the Leading Information Technologies Company Technology Strategy
Supporting departments to use technology in a profitable manner by overseeing technology-related costs and the entire sourcing of the R&D department
Building on stakeholder feedback the Director of Product Development/together with the CTO is working on continuous technology improvements
Discovering and implementing new technologies that yield competitive advantage
Providing thought leadership and support to our Tech People Leaders
Monitoring KPI and Technology related budgets to assess technological performance
Communicating technology strategy to partners and investors
Maintaining a good vibe and strategic direction for people in the central hub of R&D

WHAT ARE YOUR BACKGROUND AND COMPETENCIES?

At least 5-year experience in a minimum Director-level role on either product or engineering side in a dynamic matrix software organization (SaaS, digital marketing is an advantage)
Complex budget management is your strong suit, not only because you are the master of Excel, but because you understand the dynamic business strategy and can allocate the resources appropriately
Sound track record of thought leadership and managing tech teams of 50+ engineers
Excellent English and fluent Hungarian
