KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Valuations practice.
Value fee for service third party contracts in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry
Contribute to business development efforts related to regulated fee for service valuation (FMV) and deliver valuation services related to a variety of Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences fee for service transactions
Analyze vendor cost and market data for unique assets and services
Develop and review Microsoft Excel based FMV models and oversee the development of technology to manage supporting information from disparate data sets
Manage multiple client relationships
Supervise, mentor, and facilitate the development of consulting skills for staff including valuation principles, communication, time management, and client product delivery
A minimum of three years of experience with the issuance of valuation opinions preferably in the healthcare or life sciences sector
Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or quantitative finance,
One of the following professional credentials: ABV, CFA, or Accredited Member (AM) or Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers
Demonstrated ability to develop and leverage industry relationships for business development purposes
In-depth understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry with the ability to accurately foresee potential clients' valuation needs based on the current and expected regulatory environment
Ability to explain and defend valuation concepts to diverse audiences and to experts at various clients
Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical skills
