System Tester
Job Description:
This position is responsible for test and troubleshooting of new production and customer owned Ring Laser Gyroscope Systems, Accelerometers and Inertial Guidance Components.

Required Skills

Determine causes of rejects and modify or repair components as necessary.
Assist engineers in implementing new production processes or modifying old processes to meet new standards.
Work from complicated operation sheets, blue prints, written and oral instructions.
Computer skills, ability to utilize computer based test and data acquisition equipment.
Reports findings and makes corrective action recommendations to supervisor or engineer assigned to project.
At times, must use extreme care and considerable judgment in making fine adjustments to various components and in the equipment used to test components.
As necessary, instruct other assembly personnel in the proper procedures for testing of various components.
Perform calibrations, tests and unique assembly operations on a wide variety of production, pre-production prototype and experimental products.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required, AA in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in assembly/test operations. Preference is for a candidate with hands on experience in manufacturing testing techniques on RLG Navigational Systems, Laser Components, Accelerometers and Inertial Sensors.
Must have experience and/or demonstrate the ability to read wiring diagrams and test procedures.
Must be capable of working with complex assembly problems, recommending corrective action, and implementing such action following supervisory approval.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available.
