Develop and maintain scripts to monitor the underlying infrastructure of the client.Development, maintenance and curation of infrastructure as code for the global deployment of monitoring for the client.Support an on-call overlay practice that is available to tier 1,2,3 troubleshooting 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.Create, and maintain an upgrade and patching plan for all utility environment operating systems and virtual infrastructure management tools required for OA&M integrations.Tool integration, work closely with deployment, solution architecture and security remediation teams to align and execute integration plan on schedule.
Experienced Linux systems administration Experience managing deployment at scale Experience authoring, maintaining, executing infrastructure as code Experience with Nagios, Icinga2, Zabbix design and deployment Experience with DNS infrastructure and deployment Experience with Nginx load balancer and or Haproxy Advanced OpenStack deployment and administration Knowledge of REST and architecture of services that expose REST APIs Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Java, Bash/Shell, Ruby, Perl, other) Knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, and Ansible Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database technologies Knowledge of performance testing frameworks, application performance benchmarking, and reporting
Education and minimum experience:
Bachelors Degree or higher and or appropriate experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related field 10 years of computer systems experience
